Membership in the Calgary RCM Alumni Association is open to all who hold a diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music or to any of its predecessor institutions. There are also membership categories for Friends of RCM Alumni and RCM Diploma Candidates.

The Calgary Chapter sponsors two student recitals and a social event each year. Teacher’s Choice Awards recognize achievements of individual members’ students.
